Mickey started his career with Air Kentucky as a Customer Service Agent and ultimately growing to become President. It marked the beginning of an over 30 year career of Regional airline leadership with some of the industries most notable brands. At Chautauqua Airlines, CCAIR Inc. and Mesa, he served as a Vice President he repeatedly led initiatives in Marketing, optimization network planning, driving revenue enhancement, and managing key industry relationships with airports, other carriers, and industry trade groups.
In 1999 Mickey was tapped to lead planning for all Mesa Group divisions (Air Midwest, Freedom, and Mesa Airlines). Working in route analysis, market research, forecasting and profitability modeling for a fleet of nearly 200 aircraft, his success in managing the key codeshare relationships with US Airways, Delta, America West and United eventually led him to be heavily involved with launch of the Hawaiian inter-island brand go!.
More recently, Mickey was part of the leadership team that launched 2013 Regional Airline of the Year Silver Airways. Leading initiatives ranging from EAS flying to fleet deployment to cultivating industry interline agreements; he was a critical factor in establishing the carrier as an up-and-comer in a highly competitive market space.
